I am Predrag Vulovic - Pele, and I am a marionette’s puppeteer. I live in Pancevo and 1 started performing with marionettes in 1993. At first, I had only two puppets and now I have 18 of them. 1 started giving my first public performances in Knez Mihailova Street, Belgrade, where 1 entertained and animated generations of the youngest audience in the spirit of public puppetry tradition.
Puppetry is a multilayered art, therefore my skill has been gladly accepted by adult audience, in various charity activities, radio and TV shows as well. My experience has been enriched by many shows in Greece, Italy and Hungary, where I showed how universal my work is when it comes to bringing out the best in people, whether they are children or adults.
When I give performances at private parties, the duration of my animation programme is between 30 minutes and 1 hour, and it is adapted for children ages 2 to 10. In my show there are eight marionettes, but the programme itself is adaptable in terms of the choice of the puppets and their purpose for the show. 1 can say 1 am really welcomed in front of the adult audience, at different manifestations and touristic events, given to the great charisma of my marionettes.
